Three R’s of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle: empowering local woman project.

Since 2015 Mammadu is running this project to generate income for moms and other ladies from the neighborhood of Mammadu. They learned to convert used plastic bags / left over materials and paper into beautiful hand crafted objects like Baskets, Shopping Bags and Handbags. There is no cost for the material as it is all recycled material so the is a 100% profit for the woman who produces the object. This not only helps her financially but it also gives the women a sense of empowerment and self esteem.
