We run an upcycling project where we use wine/whiskey and any other bottles and create them into new and unique items. We personally design/dress each bottle with yarns, cloth and paint. We have different designs for home decor, birthdays, weddings, and do custom orders for any occasion.
Our up-cyclying initiatives achieves 2 of the 3 R’s of recycling. Reduce – what goes to landfill and Reuse what you were going to throw away. Our dream is to have a big project one day that trains and recruits the unemployed talented youth to help keep the environment clean and give the waste bottles a new life. Currently two youngsters are being trained on a part time basis on how to dress the bottles.
