Mpact Namibia manufactures specialised corrugated packaging material, with up to 4 colour printing on superior paper from an environmentally sustainable supplier. Mpact’s main factory is based in Walvis Bay. A smaller sheet plant branch, which focuses on smaller quantity conversion, is based in Windhoek. We are part of the Mpact group and part of the Corrugated Division. We employ around 90 permanent employees as well as a small number of contractors and fixed term employees.

Mpact Limited, formerly Mondi Packaging South Africa, is one of the largest paper and plastic packaging businesses in southern Africa, with 31 operating sites, 24 of which are manufacturing operations, based in South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. Mpact employs 3,790 people. The Group, which is listed as a separate entity on the JSE and demerged from Mondi in July 2011, has the leading market position in Southern Africa in corrugated packaging, recycled-based carton board and containerboard, recovered paper collection, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) preforms, styrene trays and plastic jumbo bins.
